A successful company based in London is looking for a Senior/Lead PHP Software Developer to join their IT team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward thinking company that has genuine plans for growth. You will take on the role of Lead Developer and focus on building a team and transitioning of development from an outsourced company to in-house. There will be a lot of focus on developing new software and functionality as well as providing enhancements to existing systems.
Day to day duties in this PHP Developer role will be:
- Working within an Agile, Lean and TDD environment
- Leading on the development of internal and external company software
- Implementing highly scalable backend services
- Working at a senior level to plan for system developments
- Developing using a range of languages including PHP (Laravel), SQL and JavaScript
The starting salary for this Lead PHP Developer role is up to £75,000 based on experience.
To be considered suitable you will need to have previous experience with the above technologies, ideally working with the business to translate requirements into technical deliverables. You will also need strong experience across PHP, SQL and JavaScript.
The ideal candidate would also have exposure to Docker, AWS and Jenkins however these are not essential.
