A large and well-known company based in South West London is looking for an experienced L&D Manager to join their growing team. This role will require 3 days in the South office with 2 days from home. Salary is up to £55,000 plus 25 days holiday. 35 hour week (either 8-4, 9-5 or 10-6)
This Learning and Development Manager role will be a mix of both strategic and hands on work, covering the following:
- Developing training plans/strategies across the organisation
- Partnering with Managers and Supervisors to upskill as well as determine training needs
- Delivering training across areas such as customer service, health and safety and compliance
- Managing a Training Administrator to coordinate external training where necessary
- Promoting practical e-learning as well as face to face training
- Undertaking training for casual/seasonal staff
- Providing mentoring where required
To be considered suitable you will need the following skills and experience:
- A strong track record in hands on training, learning and development
- A background in either hospitality, customer service, hotels, retail or entertainment/activity sectors
- Ability to provide guidance on L&D strategy and plans
- An understanding of supporting apprenticeship programmes would be seen as advantageous
- Ability to both deliver training as well coordinate external specialists
- Experience across both e-learning and face to face learning
