Junior Tax Accountant
12 month FTC – Bracknell - £45,000
A highly successful, global business are looking for a Junior Tax Accountant to join their Finance Team. This is a brilliant opportunity to join an international business at a time of real growth. Please note – this is a 12 month FTC but may be extended.
As the Junior Tax Accountant (Indirect) you will prepare and submit Value Added Tax, EC Sales and Intrastat Returns for European and Middle East VAT registrations. You will align goods movement types on SAP with customs data to ensure accuracy, for Intrastat reporting and check goods movements are adjusted on the VAT return where necessary. You will review the correct usage of VAT codes and highlight any adjustments to accounts payable for future invoice coding and manage reconciliations for EC sales, VAT and intrastat.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in business, accounting, finance or related field or accounting qualification. Knowledge about the commodity codes, transaction types and other intrastat related master data would be beneficial as would some indirect Tax experience. You will demonstrate in-depth knowledge of VAT regulations and have solid ERP system (ideally SAP) experience.
The salary on offer for this role is £45,000 pro rata.
