A large internationally recognised business is looking for a driven Junior Software Tester to be part of an established software team responsible for a number of business-critical application solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with an experience QA, take on plenty of responsibility, utilise the training available and develop a strong testing career. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office located in the London Bridge area.
This Software Tester role will include meeting with users, identifying / breaking-down test requirements, writing and executing test scenarios / cases, coordinating user acceptance testing, planning and executing data quality tests, testing data integrations, planning and executing performance regression testing as well as recording test defects.
In order to be suitable for this role you must have some experience in a Junior Software Tester, Graduate Test Engineer, Trainee Test Analyst or similar role. It is essential to have strong manual test skills including breaking down requirements, potentially with Business Analysts, to write test scenarios and Test cases, including steps. The ideal candidate will also have some exposure to automated testing, logging errors in Jira as well as an ISEB / ISTQB certification, however these are not essential.
This is a pivotal role in a large constantly evolving business with plenty of planned enterprise-level projects and would suit a logical / methodical individual with excellent attention to detail as well as proactive solution driven approach. This Software Tester role is paying up to a maximum of £35,000 plus benefits including training budget.
