A reputable and growing technology company is looking for a bright and ambitious Junior IT Support Technician (1st, and some 2nd line) to join an established team based in central Leeds, West Yorkshire - while there will be some remote working available, it'll be based in the office initially for training purposes.
The successful candidate will be tasked with providing (face to face and remote) 1st, and some 2nd line support to approximately 100 UK users across multiple locations. This role will involve utilising the helpdesk ticketing system, providing business application support, installing and configuring workstations, delivering user support training as well as some infrastructure exposure.
You must have some commercial IT support experience, ideally for a medium sized user base in a fast moving industry, with excellent customer service skills and the ability to prioritise IT queries. It is essential to have a strong academic record (graduate or industry-related certifications such as MCP, MCSA or MCSE) with a good knowledge of a wide range of technology such as Windows 7 & 10, Office 365, Active Directory (log ins, user access control permissions, etc.), telephony solutions as well as knowledge of Printer support (ideally HP and Ricoh) and networking.
