A leading media company with a growing global presence are currently seeking an articulate and professional Desktop Support Analyst to join their existing team, based in Central London.
To be suitable for this position it is essential that you will have completed a relevant IT degree or completed IT apprenticeship and be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment where you will be liaising with multiple stakeholders via telephone, email and face to face.
You will provide 1st and 2nd line support for approximately 270 users, logging and processing IT issues and escalating any complex queries up the chain.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Helping configure and roll out new or replacement hardware
- Setting up new starter network/email accounts
- Upgrading desktop software and applications where necessary
- Installing switches and servers
- Duties relating to the creation and maintenance of internal support documentation
- Assisting with local and global projects
Knowledge of the following technologies is required; Microsoft Windows 7/10, Microsoft Office 2010/2016, a basic understanding of networking concepts (such as TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, Firewalls) and exposure to Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange Administration.
Any knowledge of the following would be useful; Macs/IPads, Mobile Devices, Microsoft Office 365, Skype for Business, OneDrive, Cisco IP Phones and video conferencing.
