A well-established business is looking for an experienced Java/J2EE Developer, to help deliver enterprise-grade server functionality to underpin cutting-edge software products. This company operates a hybrid working model so you will be able to work from home 2 or 3 days per week.
In order to be suitable for this role of significant responsibility you must have demonstrable expertise of software development, architecture and design - and thrive on being a member of a fast moving and respected development team. The successful applicant will be a flexible and creative technologist who is highly skilled and self-motivated.
You will have significant experience with Java/J2EE across the entire software development lifecycle and will have experience with Java frameworks (Spring/Spring Boot/Hibernate/Hazelcast). It is expected that you will have experience with cross-server deployment and high-performance, high-availability design. Any experience with Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud technology and CI/CD would be advantageous to your application but is not essential.
