Junior Systems Administrator - £45,000

We are seeking an IT Systems Administrator to ensure the smooth functioning of our clients IT infrastructure and provide support to end users. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing IT tools and systems while actively engaging with employees at all levels.

Main Duties:

As the IT Systems Administrator, your primary responsibilities include:

Providing day-to-day IT support to end users. Maintaining critical systems such as Active Directory, DNS, Exchange, File Service, Print Service, DHCP, SharePoint, and Backup Service. Ensuring network security and implementing regular backups. Handling hardware and software setup, configuration, and troubleshooting. Resolving IT system issues and providing timely support. Monitoring and maintaining network infrastructure and server room equipment. Coordinating with suppliers for PC setup and procurement. Applying necessary server updates, patches, and security measures. Offering support for IP cameras, video conferencing, and telephone systems. Managing IT assets and software licenses proactively. Providing application support to end users. Administering IT budgets, contracts, and related services.

Essential Skills and Attributes: To excel in this role, you should possess:

A minimum of 2 years' experience in IT support roles. Proficiency in Microsoft Server/PC Operating Systems, Active Directory, networks, structured cabling, Microsoft SQL, Exchange/Exchange Online, Outlook, and other office applications, along with security measures. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Strong stakeholder management abilities, remaining composed under pressure. Personal integrity, upholding confidentiality and diplomacy.

Desirable Skills: The following skills and experiences are desirable but not mandatory:

Previous experience in a service desk operation. Experience working for a property development company or an international organization. Familiarity with MAC/Linux operating systems. Knowledge of ITSM/ITIL framework.
