A successful business that has been operating for more than thirty years and has a turnover of approximately £55 million is looking for a proven IT Systems Administrator to be based from their offices in the Beeston area, Nottinghamshire (commutable from Derbyshire, Leicestershire as well as parts of Staffordshire).
The successful candidate will report into the IT Manager and will be tasked with providing 3rd line support to approximately 380 users across multiple sites with particular responsibility for all IT server and network systems. Please note, as part of a small team you will get involved in all aspects of IT from escalation calls to project work.
In order to be suitable for this role you must have experience working in a Senior IT Support Engineer, Windows Systems Administrator, Network Administrator or similar 2nd/3rd line support role. It is essential to have broad technical support skills covering Windows 2003 - 2012 Server, Exchange Server, Active Directory, VMware vSphere, Windows 7-10 and networking (security, firewall, LAN/WAN....etc.).
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a small IT team making a direct impact on the success of the company as well as being heavily involved in a number of planned IT projects. This role is paying a maximum basic salary of £35,000 plus benefits including contributory pension, and 23 days.
