IT Support Engineer - 2nd Line

A well established, international business based in Surbiton, Surrey (20 mins from London Waterloo) are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to provide 2nd Line support to their users both face to face and remotely.

Key responsibilities will include:

Provide telephone and email support for internal users

Software installation, desktop imaging, software inventory and monitoring

Configuration and installation of physical and virtual servers

Administration and configuration of Cisco Networking devices. (Switches / Firewalls)

Backup administration

Assist with projects of all sizes including technology infrastructure and software projects

Overall management and responsibility for the efficient handling of support requests

To be suitable, you will have gained the following:

Experienced in installing, supporting and troubleshooting :

Windows 10,

Microsoft Office 2016,

Active Directory,

Microsoft 365

Networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP),

VMware/Hyper-V

Remote Access tools

The salary on offer for this role is £35,000 - £40,000.
