IT Support Engineer

A well established, market-leading,  resource management company, is now seeking an IT Support Engineer to work in their brand new, swanky & modern head office near Moorgate, offering the opportunity to work a varied role providing user, systems, network, software and printer support across the business. The role will suit an established 1st & 2nd line support professional, keen to progress their career and technical knowledge working with new technologies, some standard and some bespoke. 

Reporting to the Head of IT, you will be supporting the Executive and internal end users, with a range of IT services. Alongside your team, you will be responsible for providing varied support as well as effective administration and support for all IT Systems.  Basic networking skills and day to day server maintenance experience is required, with the opportunity to further develop your skills in these areas.

To be considered for this role you must have;

  • Solid experience in a 1st & 2nd line support role
  • Knowledge of Windows 7 and Windows 10
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Cloud Tenant, Outlook & SharePoint
  • Some Windows Server 2012 and 2016 experience
  • Experience with network protocols LAN, WAN,TCP/IP
  • Knowledge of HP servers and switches
  • Active Directory experience

Although not essential,  Microsoft SQL Server or Veeam backup and replication experience, would be considered highly advantageous as would any Microsoft qualifications (MCP's, MCSE).
