An award winning and very well established archaeology charity are now seeking a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their user-focused and friendly team.
Reporting to the Head of IT, you will predominantly be responsible for more complicated cases escalated from the helpdesk, assisting with improvements to the IT infrastructure and assisting with the delivery of project work.
As the IT Support Engineer, you will need to have recent experience configuring and troubleshooting wireless networking issues as well as routing problems and be proficient in administering/managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP & Group Policy.
To be considered for this role you must also have;
- A valid driving license as there will be a requirement for travel to other offices.
- MCP or MCSA level certified
- Microsoft Office 365 and Cloud Services (administering and managing)
- Experience leading technical projects
- Experience deploying Windows 10 Operating Systems.
Although not essential, an accreditation with Microsoft, VMWare or Cisco would be considered highly advantageous. As well as recent experience supporting Microsoft Server applications and knowledge of Sophos Central Cloud services.
