IT Support Engineer – 2nd Line – Hybrid Working
A highly reputable, established business with offices in London Bridge are looking for a personable IT Support Engineer to join their 7 person IT Team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and supporting users and the wider business. Perhaps you will have worked as a 2nd Line Engineer, IT Support Analyst, Helpdesk Analyst or Service Desk Analyst previously with a track record of supporting Windows technologies. As well as BAU – you will have the chance to work across a range of projects too.
As the 2nd Line IT Support Engineer you will be provisioning users, systems, and relevant equipment across the business and supporting physical infrastructure and cloud technologies.
Skills and experience required:
Strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft Systems, specifically Microsoft Azure, Active Directory and associated technologies
Experience of backup systems and methodology
Ability to diagnose and correct system issues, ensuring affected users are kept informed of progress
Ability to gain credibility and explain technical issues to non-technical colleagues
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, at all levels, both written and verbal
Strong knowledge of MS Office products
Strong customer service ethos.
This would suit a technology and people enthusiast with circa 18 month + IT Support experience.
The salary on offer for this IT Support role is up to £33,000 plus great benefits.
