IT Support Engineer – remote working- £40,000
A highly regarded charity based in SW London (Clapham) that support children and young adults across the South are looking for an experienced IT Engineer to join their team. This is a brilliant opportunity to work for an established not for profit at an exciting time as they go through a significant digital transformation programme. Remote/home working is offered- with occasional requirement to travel to the London office.
As the IT Support Engineer you will work to ensure their digital strategy will deliver a cloud and application-based future with security and accessibility at the heart of it. This role will help to ensure colleagues can work in an agile way with the appropriate applications and information easily and securely accessible to them.
This new role will act as a point of support escalation to colleagues, be expected to help embed modern applications across the organisation, work with our external partners to manage changes and updates and be able to support and communicate with a range of different stakeholders.
he remit of this role is broad, covering all elements of the digital offering, including our applications, our infrastructure, through to traditional desktop support. Experience of working in a structured support environment, able to follow guidance and instructions and ensure best practice is adhered to is imperative.
Key responsibilities will include:
Implement, monitor, operate and support digital workplace technologies (endpoint hardware, software, services, and SaaS tools)
Act as a point of escalation for system queries from colleagues and users.
To follow, manage, maintain, and update system documentation and security protocols.
Support the delivery and embedding of the digital strategy across the organisation.
Ensure all support requests are logged correctly using JIRA Service Desk.
Be an integral part of the IT support desk to deliver excellent levels of service.
To support data analyst's reporting requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a broad range of IT Support experience across application, software, networking and infrastructure. Experience across Microsoft 365 is essential.
The salary on offer for this role is £40,000 plus benefits.
