A well-established construction business is looking for an ambitious IT Support Engineer to join its team of Engineers based in its Potters Bar office. There are lots of exciting upcoming IT projects and progression opportunities within the business. You are required onsite during probation, and once passed, the role will become hybrid.
As one of the 5 key members of the IT department reporting to the Head of IT, you will provide 2nd and 3rd line end-user and systems support across a diverse technology stack, with responsibility for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of Windows systems within a virtualized environment.
You will also be mentoring 2 members of the IT Team and are expected to highlight key areas to expand IT services within the business that can provide additional benefits to the company.
In order to be suitable for this role, you must have proven commercial experience working with VMWare, Windows Servers and Operating Systems, and Azure, and have strong networking exposure also.
