We have a great role for an IT Support Analyst who has experience with networking experience to step into a deputy network manager role.
This full-time position entails 36 hours per week, year-round (52 weeks), with a salary ranging from £32,000 to £36,000 per annum DOE. The role requires 5 days on-site with 29 days holiday plus bank holidays and attractive benefits.
As Deputy Network Manager, you'll help optimise network performance and provide top-tier IT support services to their users. Collaborating closely with the IT Support team, you'll also deputize for the IT Systems Manager as needed. Your responsibilities include proactive network management, ensuring service and device availability, and promptly addressing support requests of varying complexities.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to major upgrades in core network infrastructure and cloud transformation over the next 2-3 years. You'll actively participate in developing long-term strategies and enhance your technical and managerial skills to maintain best-in-class service and performance.
The IT Support department plays a vital role in supporting our operational activities and contributes to enhancing the business resilience. Beyond daily support and maintenance, the department focuses on strengthening cybersecurity, mitigating network downtime risks, and developing disaster recovery plans.
You'll join a small, highly capable team, collaborating closely with an external third-line support provider, all dedicated to delivering excellent customer-focused service. The department is led by the IT Systems Manager, overseen by the Business Manager.
