A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a multi-award-winning TV and Film production company as they are looking to grow their existing IT team. They are looking for 1st Line IT Technician to help support and maintain IT for circa 400 users. Reporting to the IT Manager, the role holder will be a key member of the IT Support Team taking responsibility for maintaining and developing a modern infrastructure to support the business goals of the organisation.
Specific responsibilities include:
*1st line technical support for around 400 staff (mixture of remote/on site)
*Office 365 administration (Exchange, Sharepoint, OneDrive)
*Active Directory administration
*PC/Laptop configuration, maintenance and support
*Mac configuration, maintenance and support
*Software installation, configuration and support
*Loaner laptop bookings
*Mobile & tablet support
*Provide staff training when requested
*Assist IT Manager with server infrastructure
*Network infrastructure maintenance
Candidates must have the following experience:
* Good communication skills, including translating tech-speak into simple, everyday language
* An interest in computer and internet based technology
* Experience of building and supporting computer equipment and networks
* Experience of using and supporting MS Windows 7/8/10 & Office 2013/2016
* Formal IT qualifications are advantageous (e.g. MCP)
* Office 365 experience desirable
* Knowledge and experience of using and supporting Apple macOS and iOS
* Experience of configuring mobile devices & tablets
* Experience setting up and supporting video conferences (Skype)
* Communicating with all levels of seniority
