This is a wonderful opportunity for a junior IT support professional to take the next step in their ambitious career. Based in Mayfair, within walking distance from Victoria or Piccadilly Circus, an international financial services firm is seeking to add a junior Support Analyst to their team. This is an opportunity to challenge yourself, feel some ownership, a little pressure and enjoy some occasional international travel.
Utilising technology is at the heart of this company’s success. Having built a reputation for capitalising on evolving markets and regulations better than others, they have experienced a phenomenal surge in growth and they now supply services to clients worldwide. The additional Support Engineer will focus on ensuring 1st and some 2nd line BAU IT services operate as effectively as possible for all users.
This is an opportunity in a time-critical trading environment, and you will be well-rewarded for the energy you put in. However, ensure you read the entire advert carefully, before choosing to apply.
The working hours will be from 0730 to 1630, Monday to Friday. You will need to be prepared to work longer hours when projects reach their installation and configuration stages. This role will also require you to travel to international offices at short notice, particularly to SE Asia, Israel or European capitals. This is a team effort and infrequent but the more interest you have in travelling and flexibility you can contribute, the more you will gain.
The focus is on hiring the right person, ahead of technical skills. You will need to be a stable, committed employee, capable of providing 1st line support from Day One. This should be represented in your CV as 1 to 3 years of commercial experience, ideally in one, but no more than two environments. You must be able to demonstrate a capacity to self-manage your workload and be technically capable in Office365, Windows and AD (to support and maintenance level, without escalation).
They are running projects to bring a number of systems in-house across 2020. This will be a great opportunity to learn a number of new skills and will present a number of interesting challenges.
This is a great working environment for the right person. It is full of highly intelligent and massively driven people, looking to make a difference to the success of the business. To send your CV, click on the apply button and, if asked, complete the candidate consent form.
