The Ashdown Group have been engaged by a well-established organisation who are looking to recruit a driven IT professional with SharePoint to join their IT team, supporting users.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and professional, organisation. The focus of the role will be general IT support, networking and IT administration - both remotely and onsite.
You will be required to act as the first port of call for users with IT issues and you will be expected to deliver a timely and effective response. Where possible you will solve issues (up to 3rd line) immediately, via the phone, visiting the user or remotely, however the role will be varied so you will also have the opportunity to participate in projects, upgrades and migrations if you move into the position permanently.
Your technical skills must include support of SharePoint (setup and administration) on Office 365 and Windows 7/10. They run a Windows Server 2012 environment. You need to be well versed with Active Directory and Exchange, yet happy to perform fundamental tasks such as password resets or setting up new users. In addition you will need to be familiar with PC peripherals, hardware and printers, and have knowledge of network troubleshooting. Knowledge and experience working on virtualisation projects is highly advantageous
This is an urgent 3 month contract for an experienced IT Support Analyst with SharePoint knowledge. The client is based in the Victoria area and they are paying up to £220/d with an opportunity to go permanent (c.£38,000) at the end of the contract term.
