An iconic charity brand, with approximately 700 users, is looking to add an IT Support Analyst to the team. The successful individual will have excellent communication and IT support skills and be able to provide 1st and 2nd line support for their operating systems and software on all devices, across this multi-site business.
Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager you will play a pivotal part in their team, acting as the main support and also working very closely with the 1st line Support Analyst to maintain the service desk. The successful candidate will work to maintain the Windows Server and Desktop operating systems within a Microsoft Exchange environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity which will allow the successful candidate exposure to a range of technology and will require a high level of customer service as you support the users, adopting a hands on manner. It is therefore you must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to use your own initiative and work independently.
To be considered for this role you must have;
-Solid experience in a 1st and 2nd line support role
-Knowledge of Windows 7, 8 and Windows 10
-Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013, Office 365, Outlook & SharePoint
-Some Windows Server 2008, 2012 and 2016 experience
-Active Directory experience
-Telephony VoIP
Although not essential, candidates with any Microsoft qualifications such as MCP's, MCSE would be valuable. Additionally, any virtualisation experience (VMware & Hyper-V) and finally experience with Switches, Routers, Firewalls would be considered highly advantageous.
The starting salary for this role is up to 30,000, depending on skills and experience and offers additional benefits including free gym membership, season ticket loan, pension and 23 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays.
