IT Support Engineer – 1st/2nd Line

 

 

A large and rapidly growing business based in SE London are looking for an IT Support Engineer who wants to progress their career and technical knowledge. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting around 180 users remotely and on-site. It will be key to provide efficient and effective administration and support for all IT Systems within the business. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a 1st Line or 2nd Line Support Engineer role or as a Helpdesk Analsyt, Desktop Support Analyst or Junior IT Support Engineer.

Key responsibilities include:

 

Be the primary contact for logging support incidents and requests from end users, keeping users up to date with incident progress and upholding the highest standard of professional service.

Creating and supporting domain and Office365 accounts and services.

Support of mobile devices with Microsoft Intune.

Imaging desktop and laptop machines using Microsoft SCCM.

Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades and security patching.

Administering and troubleshooting Office365 technologies inc. SharePoint and OneDrive.

Supporting Mimecast email security systems.

Essential requirements:

Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 - Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams

Knowledge of Windows 10

Knowledge of Network Communication (LAN/WAN/TCP IP).

Knowledge of Active Directory

 

The salary on offer for this role up to £30,000 depending on experience. Please note- this role will be office based.

 

South East London – Bexley Heath; commutable from Woolwich, Dartford, Belvedere, Welling, Sidcup, Erith

Essential requirements:

- Knowledge of Windows 10
- Knowledge of Windows Server 2016 and 2019 inc. Hyper-V Technology
- Knowledge of Network Communication (LAN/WAN/TCP IP). 
- Knowledge of Active Directory
