An established organisation is looking for a proven IT Support / Project Engineer to assist with various mini-projects as part of a larger Cloud migration initiative. Tasks will include cleaning up Active Directory, removing redundant data, cleaning and securely disposing of old hardware, migrating the intranet, reconfiguring the new telecoms system as well as producing user documentation and providing training. This is a fixed-term contract for initially 12 months and will largely be working from home, with the occasional need to get into the West Sussex office.
In order to be suitable for this role you must have worked in a Desktop Support Technician, IT Support Engineer, Systems Manager or similar technical role. It is essential to have strong knowledge of Active Directory, O365, PC hardware, some general networking and telecommunication systems. Any project work similar to the duties listed above will be considered highly beneficial, but not essential.
This is a diverse hands-on role which would suit a self-motivated technical support professional and is paying up to £41,000.
