IT Service Management Lead (ITIL)
*Initial 2 year fixed term contract, hybrid working available and salary up to £65,000 plus annual bonus of £10,000, 10% pension private medical cover*
A global insurance firm is looking for an experienced IT Services Lead to join them to support with a period of global change and in particular IT service management. Responsibilities will include:
- Delivering change across frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT and ISO27001
- Establishing overall service management framework which will cover both internal and external services provided (including metrics reporting)
- Ensure regulatory requirements are implemented for all IT services
- Establishing IT service catalogue
- Support with projects and change
- Develop relationships with both internal and external parties and report on supplier service and risks. Supporting Vendor Managers with service review meetings
- Lead service improvement meetings and report on customer satisfaction
- Working to drive continuous service improvement
- Roll out ITSM tool to best serve the organisation
- Share best practice to enhance IT delivery
- Assist with overall IT strategy and roadmap
To be considered suitable for this IT Service Management Lead role you will need to have the following skills and experience:
- Strong ITIL focus with an emphasis on continuous improvement
- Track record of managing and developing an IT service management lifecycle with a focus on controls, risk and regulatory requirements
- Experience of driving process improvement from a service delivery perspective
- Experience of working with cloud services, service desk and problem/change management
- Knowledge of ITIL (v3 or v4), governance frameworks (COBIT ideally) and ISO27001
- Strong experience within service management in an insurance, financial services or other regulated environment
