A multinational technology firm is looking for an Information Security & Compliance Manager to join its team based in Crawley, West Sussex. The company offer hybrid working so you will be able to work from home 2 days per week if you would like to.
In order to be suitable for this role you must be an accomplished IT security professional with great communication skills and a passion for compliance. Working directly with the senior leadership team of a large global business you will play a key role in maintaining and developing information security policies and procedures, ensuring that effective controls and reporting mechanisms are in place.
You will have broad knowledge of risk management, vulnerability assessments, business impact analysis, and third-party risk, allied to extensive knowledge of security standards, including ISO27001. Great communication and documentations skills are a prerequisite, while security certifications are highly advantageous to your application, with CISSP preferred.
You will lead the business on its information security journey, driving the process to eventually achieve ISO27001 accreditation. You will manage and mitigate risks related to IT systems, information security, GDPR, physical security, crisis management, privacy, and compliance across EMEA & APAC.
Your responsibilities will include:

Acting as the primary point of contact for information security issues and joining the company’s Privacy & Risk Management Committee

Ensuring that policies, procedures and controls are in place to manage risk effectively

Ensuring the organisation’s continuous adherence to relevant legislation, including GDPR, as well as implementing/developing supporting policies including breach response and mitigation

Producing reports, conducting internal training, and managing client and vendor assessments from a security and data perspective
