IT Manager – Remote working; 1 day per week in the office
£65,000 plus benefits – City of London
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an IT Manager to further their career in business and technology for a forward-thinking professional service company. As the IT Manager, you will play a key part in providing core support to the business to oversee the key functions within the IT department that enable the delivery of a high-quality service to end users.
This position is a stakeholder facing role and requires that you establish and manage expectations within the business and drive the IT team to achieve those expectations to a high standard. The role will require a strategic thinker who is well versed in current and emerging technologies as well as industry trends.
In this role you will primarily be an IT Manager /Service Delivery Manager and ensure that services are being delivered at the operational level to meet agreed SLAs. The role will include Service desk management, Service Delivery, Capability Management, Development, Reporting Services and People Management.
You will act as trusted advisor and the primary IT point of contact to business stakeholders; operating as the key business contact representing IT in promoting the departments services and capabilities for the purpose of business technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management.
Skills & Knowledge required:
Technically savvy and able to contribute to technical conversations, decisions, and strategies including managing technical resources including MS 365 E5, MS Dynamics, MS Power BI and the wider Microsoft ecosystem
Strong business acumen including translating business needs into tangible service delivery activities.
Knowledge and experience of security frameworks such as Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, IASME and ISO27001
Leading, managing and mentoring an IT team
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
The salary on offer for this role is £65,000 plus benefits.
