This is a newly created position for an experienced hands on IT Manager to join a leading consultancy firm in the Waltham Abbey area. This role is paying £85,000 and offers hybrid working.
To be considered for this position you will have a mix of team management, hands on IT support, and hands on project delivery experience.
As the IT Infrastructure Manager you will oversee a team of 8 IT Helpdesk Analyst (4 x 1st line & 4 x 2nd line) and a team of 3 Infrastructure / 3rd Line Engineers.
You will act as an escalation point and be prepared to provide hands on IT support at all levels, as well as training & mentoring all members of the team.
Further responsibilities will be to lead & manage various migration & implementation projects across the company.
As an experienced IT Engineer you will have hands on experience across a complete IT infrastructure, including:
- Windows Server & Active Directory
- Azure & Azure AD
- Office 365 (inc. Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive & SharePoint)
- Network switches, routers & firewalls
- VMWare &/or HyperV virtualisation
- SAN
Any experience managing & delivering a large enterprise On-Prem to Cloud (Windows Server to Azure) migration would be highly beneficial.
This role is offered with hybrid working (3 or 4 days in the office & 1 or 2 days a week from home) and will be based out of the UK head office in Waltham Abbey (London, Essex & Hertfordshire border) with good access from local train links & the M25 motorway. This role is paying up to £85,000 and offers the chance to work with the latest technologies and lead enterprise-scale projects.
