A well-established business is looking for an accomplished IT Manager to lead its technology team, based in Buntingford, Hertfordshire. The organisation embraces hybrid working and you would be able to work from home 1/2 days per week. Please note, for this role a driving licence is required.
Within this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of all IT systems as well as the IT team. You will maintain essential IT operations and will support the team to ensure the efficient running of business applications, servers, networks, infrastructure, and desktops/laptops. You will develop and implement the IT strategy and manage a small technology team, striving to create a collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement.
To be suitable for this IT Manager role, you will enjoy a varied leadership role and have gained previous experience managing a small team. You will be personable and professional; able to build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders. You will be customer focused and able to communicate with non-technical audiences. You will be a strategic thinker with the ‘hands-on’ technology skills required to provide high-level systems support in a Microsoft environment and will have demonstrable expertise in Windows Server, Office 365, Active Directory, and networking.
