IT Manager – UK and Europe – Hybrid - £100,000 plus benefits
A fantastic opportunity for a competent and personable IT Manager has arisen with a market leading, global professional services firm based in Central London. With London offices based in the City (near Liverpool Street) and with a European remit this a rare opportunity to work autonomously in a role that really adds value to the firm. Reporting to the Global IT Director and leading/managing a growing IT Team you will be responsible for supporting and driving forward IT initiatives that enhance service delivery across the UK and European offices. This role would suit an experience IT Manager or Head of IT with legal sector or professional services experience.
As the IT Manager you will have primary responsibility for all Information Technology within the UK and European offices. This includes BAU/ day to day operations including desktops, hardware, software and applications. Working with the IT Director you will establish and manage IT budgets for each regions and lead the team to be effective at provisioning a range of IT Support services.
Please note- any experience within the professional services or legal sector would be beneficial, but not essential.
The core components of this role are centrered around leadership of the IT team; coaching, objective setting, appraisal reviews etc, providing an escalation point where appropriate, coordinating projects and work streams, service management and technical operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency across all Microsoft applications, a range of hardware and software and database management. ITIL qualifications would be deemed beneficial. You will be familiar with installation, configuration and management of typical end user equipment and operating systems.
