This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join a well-established MSP in the Loughton area of London / Essex. This role will be office based and is paying a salary of between £35,000 - £45,000 + bonus.
My client has been in business for circa 30 years and has an impressive number of long-standing SME customers. Due to overwhelming demand, they have an urgent requirement for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their team providing BAU support as well as project work – for both internal systems and customer systems.
To be considered for this position you MUST have previous experience working for a consultancy or an MSP in a customer focused role.
This will be a varied role that will see you some days working on the service desk providing remote customer support, some days working on customer projects, and some days supporting internal systems and working on internal projects.
The ideal candidate will have worked with the following technologies:
- Windows Server & HyperV
- Active Directory, DNS & Group Policy
- Office 365 inc. Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams & OneDrive
- PowerShell scripting
- SolarWinds, ConnectWise or similar RMM tool
- Application deployments & configuration
- Network switches, routers, firewalls & wireless support, monitoring and management
This role will be based in the Loughton office 5 days a week with occasional customer site visits, therefor a full UK drivers license will be required.
In return for hard work and dedication my client is offering a salary of £35,000 - £45,000 + bonus, as well as the chance to work on the latest technologies both internally and for a range of SME customers.
