This is a newly created position in the Guildford area paying up to £23,000 for an IT Helpdesk Analyst to join the 1st line service desk providing telephone & remote IT support to external customers.
My client is a well-established Microsoft Gold Partner IT consultancy in the Guildford area going through continued growth and expansion. They have an impressive and growing SME customer base across Greater London, Surrey, Kent and Hampshire for which they provide the complete range of IT services to.
This role would be ideal for someone with previous experience in IT support, or a recent university graduate in an IT-related subject. As a customer focussed role, the successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills, be confident & outgoing, and enjoy dealing with users of all levels.
Ideally you will have some experience or study with:
- Call Logging & Remote Access tools
- Windows 10
- Office365
- Active Directory
Any further experience with Azure, Citrix &/or VMWare, as well as any antivirus & backup solutions would be highly beneficial.
Once you have settled into the role and completed the initial in-house training, you will have access to a wide range of fully funded formal Microsoft courses & exams. My client is looking for someone to progress up to the 2nd line team and then onto the 3rd line team when the time is right.
Based in the Godalming area of Guildford, my client is in a good location for train links and A3 / M3 driving. This role is paying a salary of between £16,000 - £23,000 + full MCSE training & certification, pension, dental, life assurance & healthcare.
