IT Field Engineer – London - £32,000 plus bonus
A highly successful and growing business are looking for an IT Support Field Engineer to join their team. Based in Central London, with travel to other sites across London you will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd Line IT Support to all users. As the IT Support Analyst you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolve any user issues that arise;
Basic network support ensuring full connectivity of desktop and other networked peripherals, troubleshooting and resolving user and site networking issues
Be involved in installing, maintaining, upgrading, and repairing of IT products such as PCs, Workstations, Printers, Terminals, Servers, and associated devices.
Completing installations (Workstations, servers, switches, firewalls etc)
On-site work which will include fixing hardware faults, installing upgrades, project work, ad-hoc requests, etc
Complete project work such as server, network, cable etc
Efficiently handling technical support incidents, requests and changes.
Assisting with the creation and maintenance of local site IT systems documentation
The ideal candidate will have worked previously as an IT Technician, Service Desk Analyst, 2nd Line Support Engineer or Field Engineer. You will have a good understanding of security, networking, hardware and software support and will pride yourself on delivering outstanding customer service.
The salary on offer is £32,000 plus bonus for on call.
