IT Systems Engineer - Global Insurance Company
Salary up to £36,000 plus 15% bonus, 25 days holiday and 10% pension
A growing global insurance business is looking to add an experienced Systems Engineer to its team. This role will be based from the Central London office with the expectation of being in the office 2 days a week.
The IT Engineer will be responsible for providing support to the London office as well as global sites, carrying out the following duties:
- IT helpdesk / service desk support
- IT project work - server migrations, VMware upgrades, Office moves, application upgrades
- Monitoring data security and disaster recovery
- Support finance and transactional systems
- Support of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, VMware, Firewalls, Network cabling, switches/routers
- Laptop and PC hardware support
To be considered suitable you will need to have previous experience with 1st/2nd line IT support as either a Desktop Engineer, Service Desk Analyst or IT Engineer along with strong communication skills and a passion for IT support. It is also essential that you have some exposure to:
- WAN/LAN
- Windows Server and desktop environments
