A multinational software company is looking for an accomplished IT Director to join its senior leadership team, the organisation embraces flexibility, so the role can be completely remote. Please note, this position is a temp-to-perm role so please only apply if you are available to start immediately on an Inside IR35 contract (paying £650 per day). It is envisaged that the role will become a permanent salaried position after circa 3 months.
In this business-critical role, you will report directly to the CIO and have full responsibility for developing the technology strategy and vision of the Group, working closely with various senior stakeholders to help translate the overall business strategy into IT capabilities. You will provide inspirational leadership to the IT team, embed a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure the digital transformation strategy enhances business performance.
In order to be suitable for this role you must be a Head of IT / IT Director with strategic vision, a passion for innovation, and demonstrable experience in leading digitization projects and delivering IT transformation roadmaps. You will be experienced working within a Linux environment and have demonstrable expertise in overseeing software development teams and projects.

Leading the design and governance of the company’s Enterprise Architecture

Rationalising and harmonising a wide variety of business applications

Developing strategic plans for the evaluation, development, and deployment of all IT services and programs

Define and execute the IT Portfolio Management Framework, jointly with all business owners and IT domain leads

Oversee, and actively steer the IT delivery and change management process

Act as the liaison and point of contact for all IT governance and strategic topics, e.g. support for audits
