This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected IT consultancy going through continued growth and expansion. Based in the Godalming area of Guildford, Surrey, they have an urgent requirement for an experienced IT consultant to provide customer-based architecture, consultancy, strategy and technical road mapping.
To be considered for this position you will have a strong background in IT support within the Windows environment, predominantly focusing on Windows Azure, Azure Active Directory, Office 365, and physical Windows Servers, Windows networks, SAN, and firewalls.
Working for an IT consultancy this position will be highly customer focused – you will need excellent attention to detail, be able to multitask, liaise with customers & stakeholders, and work alongside the internal project & technical hands-on teams.
You will have a genuine interest in new & exciting technologies and be keen to become an Azure cloud specialist.
Coming from a technical background you will have previous experience with:
- Microsoft Azure / Cloud technologies
- Azure Active Directory
- Office 365
- Physical Windows Servers
Any further experience with SAN, Citrix, HyperV, firewalls, and general networking will be highly beneficial.
This role will be providing technical consultancy & architecture solutions to a wide variety of SME customers in the London, Surrey, Hampshire, and Kent areas. You will split your time working from home, working in the office, with occasional client meetings.
This role is paying a salary of £42,000 + pension, healthcare, life assurance, dental, childcare vouchers & cycle to work scheme.
