A reputable national brand is looking for a talented IT Business Analyst to join an established technical team - this is a hybrid role (circa 50:50 working from home and offices in the Maidenhead area, Buckinghamshire). This is a fixed-term contract for 18 months.
Working closely with the Project Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for improving the mission critical software solution by ensuring user requirements are effectively translated into specifications and tested. Duties will include liaising with key stakeholders (internal & external), explaining technical terms / concepts to non-technical stakeholders, undertaking business process modelling, creating detailed functional specifications, managing the delivery of development work, as well as creating documentation.
In order to be suitable for this role you must have proven experience working in a Technical IT Business Analyst role with detailed knowledge of the full software development lifecycle, including Agile / Waterfall models. It is essential to have first-class communication skills with experience presenting to key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will also have a technical background and relevant industry certifications (ITIL Foundation, IIBA, Prince 2...etc.), but this is not essential.
