A large well–established organisation is looking for a proven IT Auditor as they build a new internal audit service to provide independent assurance on the governance, risk management and internal controls across the organisation. This is a hybrid role both working from home, and from their London (City) office approximately 2 days per week. The organisation is under-taking a significant digital transformation, deploying artificial intelligence and data analytics, and deploying a cloud-first delivery model.
Reporting into the Head of Internal Audit, the successful candidate will be tasked with building relationships with department heads, partnering with the Digital Technology and Data Services function, engaging on data, digital and technology risks, applying innovative tools to flag risks, providing insights and assurance, using insights to anticipate risks and issues as well as creating reports and presenting to the Board / Audit Committee.
In order to be suitable for this role you must be CIA qualified with proven experience leading and delivering a wide variety of Data, Digital and Technology audits (full lifecycle), for example cloud, disaster recovery, GDPR, information security & IT programmes. This role would suit an individual passionate about Data, Digital and technology with practical experience, ideally covering coding, Power BI and relevant frameworks such as ITIL, NIST, ISO27001, ISO22301, cyber essentials….etc. It is essential to have first class inter-personnel & communication skills as well as good experience with analytical tools.
