A highly successful business is seeking an experienced IT Architect to join its team based in Uxbridge. Please note, this is a fully office-based role so you will be on-site 5 days per week.
In this senior role you will lead the design and delivery of scalable, high-performing technology solutions.You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex requirements into robust architectural designs.Key requirements include:
- Design and develop end-to-end IT architecture solutions and system blueprints across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including senior leadership, to align IT strategy with business objectives
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and frameworks (e.g. build vs. buy decisions)
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and engineering teams
- Conduct risk assessments, ensuring systems meet security and regulatory requirements
In order to be suitable for this role you will be an experienced IT professional with strong expertise in systems architecture and design. You will have hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and knowledge of APIs and databases.You will also be proficient with architectural modelling and diagramming software like Microsoft Visio, ArchiMate, or Lucidchart.
