IT and Database Manager - £50,000
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Manager with database management experience to join a growing business based in Central London.
The focus of this IT Manager/ Database Manager role will be to coordinate the IT strategy and manage and support any IT issues as they arise. This includes management of a third-party support company and ensuring that the ERP system and IT infrastructure runs efficiently.
Please note – to be suitable for this IT and Database Manager role you MUST have the following relevant experience:
Solid understanding of SQL and SQL databases linked to ERP systems
Working knowledge of Microsoft Access
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Ability to understand how the business need fits with the IT solution and identify gaps and improvements.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing the ERP system and ensuring overnight and regular routines and reports run smoothly and are developed to help the Company meet its objectives.
Providing day-to-day support for IT across the Company including first line support for users and set up of new staff.
Managing third-party IT support company with a view to minimising cost and maximising their expertise.
Managing the Company mobile phones ensuring that a cost-effective solution is developed which meets the needs of the Company employees.
Managing reporting tools ensuring that the data is kept up-to-date and provides effective information to sales and management.
Assisting with the upkeep of the website by ensuring that data is linked to the ERP system and updated as needed.
Assisting with the updating and development of key reports in Excel.
Working with the finance team to help drive the effective use of IT across the Company.
This role would suit a hands on IT Engineer with experience across databases and ERP system. You must be able to build relationships effectively, influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
The salary on offer for this role is £50,000 plus benefits.
