An innovative technology business is seeking an Internal Recruiter for an initial 12 month fixed term period (temp to perm contract). You'll have ownership of the full recruitment process, from requirements gathering, through to sourcing and onboarding, with a strong focus on enhancing the candidate experience, streamlining our processes and developing an enviable employer brand.
You will be developing the recruitment function end to end, applying strategies to attract and secure the best talent into the company. The successful candidate for this position will have a real passion for the business and their discipline. They will be full of energy, bringing fresh ideas and approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with hiring managers to create job specifications and determine approach to recruit
* Use social media to actively source and head hunt relevant candidates
* Use job boards to create and screen candidates
* Manage a high volume of niche positions
* Promote employee referral programme
* Review, update and maintain PSL
* Conduct interviews with hiring managers for successful candidates and evaluate performance supporting hiring managers through each assessment stage
* Update and provide feedback to all stakeholders throughout the hiring process
* Determine bench marking and salary levels to issue appropriate offers to successful candidates whether internal or external applicants
* Recommend and drive improvements with hiring managers to screen and assess talent
* Prepare KPIs for the function to identify trends and developments needed to improve future campaigns
* Lead the onboarding of all new recruits into the company
* Engage with universities and relevant job fairs to create a network of potential candidates
* Lead the graduate programme
* Supervise and support the Recruitment Administrator
Person Specification/Core Competencies:
* Minimum of 2 years proven experience as an internal recruiter
* Strong understanding of the full recruitment cycle through to onboarding of employees
* Experience of various interview formats (including phone, structured, group)
* External recruitment experience desirable
* Worked in the engineering and manufacturing industry desirable
* Ideally part or fully CIPD qualified
* Confident using MS applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Ability to use Applicant Tracking system and resume data base
