A leading private mental healthcare organisation are looking for an experienced Internal Communications Manager to join their Marketing team.
Please note – this is a remote role, with travel required to their Central London office once per month. An offer of employment will be subject to a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
As the Internal Communications Manager you will play an important role managing and enhancing internal communications within the organisation. You will develop and implement effective communication plans to promote engagement, alignment and understanding among employees and act as a facilitator between leadership, management and employees ensuring key messages and information are effectively delivered.
Your key responsibilities as Internal Communications Manager will include developing and executing an internal communication strategy aligned with company goals, values and objectives. You will ensure consistent messaging and tone, establish metrics and methods to evaluate the effectiveness of internal comms and analyse data and feedback to make recommendations for improvement. You will develop communication plans and strategies to support organisational changes, foster a positive and informed work environment and enhance employee engagement and satisfaction. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather input and insights for crafting communication plans and work with colleagues in the wider Communications team to create engaging and informative content for various channels including newsletters, intranet portals, emails, memos, presentations and oversee the use of digital tools and platforms.
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in communications, PR or a related field, you will also have proven experience in internal communications preferably in a managerial role, experience working in a healthcare environment is desirable but not essential. You will have excellent written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. You will be proactive, enthusiastic and motivated - able to work independently as well as in a team.
The salary on offer is up to £50,000 per annum.
