A successful and established professional services firm is looking for a proven Social Media / Digital Marketing Manager based in Yorkshire - this will be a remote contract but the incumbent must be able to easily get to the offices in Leeds, Manchester or Liverpool when required. This is an interim contract for approximately 2-3 months while they search for a permanent Social Media Manager, it’s paying £255 per day and may well be inside IR35 so will need to go through an umbrella company.
The successful candidate will work with the Head of Digital to develop and deliver a creative engaging social media strategy, using experience to provide recommendations on approach and campaigns. The role will focus on increasing engagement metrics and brand awareness with duties to include managing social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube), scheduling posts using Hootsuite, creating (with content team) engaging multimedia content, undertaking competitor MI research and analysis, as well as monitoring, tracking and analysing social media performance (Google Analytics and Facebook Insights).
n order to be suitable for this requirement you must have proven experience in a Social Media Manager, Digital Marketing Manager, Online Marketing Manager or similar role with both hands-on AND strategic social media marketing skills. It is essential to have good knowledge of building brand presence and engagement on social media, creating and executing campaigns for some lower interest categories. Technical knowledge of Hootsuite & CMS (Umbraco, ideally) is also required. The ideal candidate will have a strong digital marketing degree and some exposure to the professional service industry.
