A highly successful and established business with offices in West Yorkshire, are looking for a commercial Management Accountant
This Management Accountant opportunity would suit a qualified management accountant who is CIMA qualified also has SAP experience.
Reporting into the Financial Controller you will be responsible for performing month end activities, producing and maintaining accurate product costings, preparing budgets and forecasts as well as performance metrics.

Support Finance Team with transactional activity

Support financial controller with month end closing and budget prep

Produce monthly sales report, showing sales to plan, per business area, margin per product etc.

Calculation and reforecasting of variable costs for the annual rolling forecast and monthly results assurance

Participating in the annual rolling forecast

Establish a process for developing and updating standard costs and work closely with operations management in updating bills of materials

Review monthly purchase price variance reports to ensure standard purchase prices are correct in the BOM

Costing new products in SAP after engineering changes

Responsible for physical inventory counts, for reconciling annual stock take valuation to the financial records and investigating and reconciling count differences
To be suitable you will have a solid background preparing management and production accounts as well as experience of stock accounting. You will be analytical, with strong organisational skills with the ability to build great working relationships at all levels.
