Interim IT Director – 3 month contract with possible extension
£500 p/d – charity sector
A highly regarded and growing charity based in SW London are looking for an experienced IT Director to join them on a 3 month contract.
Please note - this role offers complete flexibility with travel to London occasionally.
Reporting to the CEO and working with Head of IT, you will review and set out the IT team structure and skill sets required to deliver the organisation’s requirements (delivering an excellent IT service to all users and leading across a number of digital transformation projects).
Key projects and responsibilities will include:
Directly manage the Head of IT and Programme Lead for their new software implementation; monitoring delivery of objectives and offering expert IT Support.
Work with senior leadership team to procure an LMS (Learning Management System) that is fit for purpose and meets business need
Review the work completed to date and recommend priorities, timelines and resources for a 5-year Digital Strategy in consultation with Senior Leadership Group, Digital Steering Committee and internal stakeholders
Work with LT to develop an approach to Programme Management that is fit for purpose
Experience/Knowledge/Qualities required:
Senior IT Leadership experience in an organisation of significant scale and complexity; while experience of charity/not for profit sector is preferable it’s not essential
Proven experience of managing major IT infrastructure, data management and digital programmes
Excellent knowledge of Office 365 and approaches to ensure cybersecurity
Able to build leadership credibility, rapport and influence
Strong management experience and capability
The rate on offer for this contract role is £500 p/d. The contract will be inside IR35.
Whilst only for 3 months initially there is a strong chance of extension.
