A very well- established Technology business are looking for a candidate to fill an Infrastructure Manager role. Based in London, this position will offer management to the infrastructure services team, who support all infrastructure used by my client and leadership to enable the business to achieve its objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Infrastructure on projects and define strategy in the migration of existing solutions to the cloud environment.
Responsibilities:
- Define department goals and targets to gain leadership support.
- Maintain, challenge and report on SLAs with third party providers.
- Vendor and supplier management.
- Manage and participate in project work.
- Provide stakeholders with regular status reports on issues and risks.
- Continually assess working practices and review aiming to reduce cost and improve quality.
- Lead by example and be hands-on when required.
Skills:
- Proven experience of successfully managing team’s Inc. goal setting and performance management.
- Working knowledge in DevOps environment.
- Experience with migration projects.
- Experience with virtualisation technologies.
- Proven knowledge of SQL Server.
