Infrastructure Engineer – £60,000 - South East London, Hybrid
A well established organisation that offers their employees a great work life balance through hybrid working is looking for a technically sound Infrastructure Engineer (Windows, Azure) to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT Support Engineer, Systems Administrator, Infrastructure Engineer or 3rd Line Engineer to join a supportive, collaborative environment with long term career progression opportunities.
To be suitable for this Infrastructure Engineer you will have previous experience with some or all of the following:
Windows OS administration
Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, DFS
Virtualized environments using Microsoft Server clustering with Azure stack HCI and Storage Spaces Direct.
Microsoft 365, and Exchange Online administration
Microsoft SCCM including O/S deployments/builds, patching and software packaging.
Experience supporting Microsoft Modern Workplace services such as SharePoint, Forms, Exchange online, and Teams is beneficial, but not essential
This Infrastructure Engineer role would suit someone that enjoys building relationships with internal users and senior stakeholders; there will be opportunities to evaluate and recommend new technical solutions to the business so this person needs to be able to secure buy in from the team. You will be personable, professional and process driven; ideally with experience of documenting processes and work arounds.
The salary on offer for this role is £55,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience). Hybrid working is offered- with 3 days per week in the office and 2 at home.
