An opening for an established Infrastructure Engineer has become available within an research and development company. This role will play a key part in delivering the technical direction within the organisation of information systems, cloud infrastructure and services. The successful candidate will work alongside the corporate IT team delivering infrastructure and services to the wider business and requires a blend of in-depth technical expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Lead on delivering and embedding business solutions, new services within the MS environment.
- Proactively scope and deliver organisation wide transformation to streamline operations and improve organisational effectiveness.
- Act as the escalation point for cloud service-related incidents and requests within SLAs.
- Work with key stakeholders to scope and deliver aligned infrastructure and services.
- Support and embed a programme of end user training.
Skills:
- Significant IT experience with Microsoft Infrastructure solutions.
- Strong hands-on technical experience with Office 365 and Office products inc. Exchange Online, SharePoint, MS Teams, OneDrive for Business, O365 Groups.
- Microsoft Azure Services experience e.g. Azure Active Directory
- Technical enterprise-scale experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures.
- Experience implementing technical solutions.
