A global professional services firm based in the heart of London are seeking a determined, friendly and motivated Information Security Manager with a keen interest in Cyber and Information Security to join its expanding team.
For this role, you must have demonstrable hands-on technical experience during your career of working with IT Infrastructure and Networking, as well as Information Security. As this is a hybrid role, it is imperative that you have maintained these hands-on technical skills with both Infrastructure and Networking up until now. It is also a requirement that you have proven commercial experience working with the cloud-based platform, Azure.
Additionally, you must have been involved working as part of the Information Security process within a business, and have had followed the ISO27001 and NIST frameworks, whilst furthermore demonstrating that you were involved with drafting these InfoSec policies and procedures.
In order to be considered for this position, you must currently be a consummate Information Security Manager, with proven hands-on technical experience of working with email and network fundamentals such as DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN, WAN and WIFI; demonstrable experience of SIEM, DLP, IAM; supported and developed security systems including firewalls, host and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
You will manage the IT security layer by identifying and mitigating cyber threats whilst furthermore ensuring that the business is aligned with industry-recognised principles. Additionally, you will be responsible for educating fellow colleagues on the latest cyber threats, therefore you must have proven hands-on systems and network support skills as you will be the SME for any security issues that arise in the business. CISP or CISM certification would be highly advantageous to your application but is not essential.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the primary point of contact for information security issues
- Ensuring the IT department’s continuous adherence to relevant legislation, including GDPR, as well as implementing/developing supporting policies including breach response and mitigation
- Producing reports, conducting internal training and managing vendor assessments from a security perspective.
