A multinational professional services firm based in the City of London is looking for a personable, passionate and driven Information Security Analyst with a strong interest in Cyber Security to join its growing team.
This is a hybrid role that is focused on both IT Infrastructure and Networks as well as Information Security, therefore it is essential that you have proven hands-on experience within both Infrastructure and Networking earlier in your career, whilst still maintaining those technical skills to the present day.
In order to be suitable for this role, you must be an accomplished Information Security Analyst, with proven hands-on technical experience in supporting and developing security systems including firewalls, host and network intrusion detection/prevention systems, as well as demonstrable working knowledge and experience of SIEM, DLP, IAM, as well as email and network fundamentals including but not limited to DNS, DHCP, VPN, WAN, LAN and WIFI. You will have proven hands-on systems and network support skills which will enable you to become the SME for any security issues that arise within the business.
You must have worked in a business as part of the Information Security process, where frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST were followed, whilst also demonstrating that you have been involved with drafting InfoSec policies and procedures.
You will manage the IT security layer by identifying and mitigating cyber threats, continuously hardening internal and client-facing platforms, educating fellow team members on the latest cyber threats and ensuring that the business is aligned with industry-recognised security principles. CISP or CISM certification would be highly advantageous to your application but is not essential.
In addition to the above requirements, commercial experience working with Azure as a Cloud-based platform is also required for this role.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Acting as the primary point of contact for information security issues
• Ensuring the IT department’s continuous adherence to relevant legislation, including GDPR, as well as implementing/developing supporting policies including breach response and mitigation
• Producing reports, conducting internal training and managing vendor assessments from a security perspective.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an accomplished Information Security Analyst to join a market-leading business that offers a clearly defined career path and an outstanding range of benefits.
