Indirect Tax Accountant - Bracknell
6 month contract- £380 p/d
A global business based in Bracknell are looking for an Indirect Tax Specialist to join them on a 6 month contract. As the Indirect Tax Accountant you will support the Senior Tax Accountant, Customs Team and the Finance Controlling team with tax compliance, identifying improvements in data quality, calculations and reconciliations.
Key responsibilities will include:
Indirect Tax
Preparation and submission of Value Added Tax, EC Sales and Intrastat Returns for European and Middle East VAT registrations.
Align goods movement types on SAP with customs data to ensure accuracy, for Intrastat reporting. Check goods movements are adjusted on the VAT return where necessary.
Review the correct usage of VAT codes and highlight any adjustments to accounts payable for future invoice coding.
Review the data for intrastat reporting with the customs team to align with customs data and help both teams improve data accuracy.
Manage reconciliations for EC sales, VAT and intrastat.
The ideal candidate will have a business, accounting or finance degree and a strong working knowledge of commodity codes, transaction types and other intrastat related master data.
Experience in indirect tax is essential.
