An amazing opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Generalist to join an exceptionally well-regarded private school based in SE London (SE19) as their HR Officer.
Reporting to the Head of HR and working with the wider HR team, you will be responsible for supporting the HR function within the school. This is a highly visible role and one in which you will really be able to make an impact.
The primary focus of this position is to assist with all HR matters relating to recruitment such as starter and leaver administration; preparing and processing documentation such as DBS checks, offer letters, and job descriptions; advertising vacancies, and requesting references. You will also be heavily involved in training, inductions, and probation. You will also be dealing with matters relating to ER, as well as assisting with developing policies and processes within the school.
The ideal candidate will have worked in an HR or administrative role within a school environment. You will have the ability to develop excellent stakeholder relationships and as you support the HR department you will ensure they are supported to provide timely and accurate services to all, whilst all the while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and best practice.
You will be CIPD qualified and will have expert knowledge of UK employment law.
